As we go through another warm spell here in Ohio, I can’t help but get excited for the upcoming Lake Erie fishing season.  We are still running out of Channel Grove Marina in Marblehead Ohio. This location has proven to be the best spot on the lake for us because it has quick access to the lake that avoids a long and boring ride through channel like some of the other marinas in the area have to deal with, places us in a central location to move with the fish as they migrate from their spawning grounds to where they spend the hot summer days and then again travel back into the Western Basin in large schools in the fall.  With fishing forecasted to be a banner year we are itching to get back on the water.  We have started our yearly maintenance of the “Erie Breeze” and have a few upgrades planned out for the old girl.  If you have fished with us before you know the seaworthiness of her and how much fishing room is available, the upgrades planned include auto pilot and more storage solutions for fishing tackle and such.  It won’t be long and she will be out there on the water.  Our schedule is starting to fill up fast and May and June weekends are already full, with these prime dates gone I urge you to give us a call soon and select a date for your fishing adventure.  We offer weekend and weekday trips for Lake Erie Walleye, Perch and Smallmouth Bass.  Give Captain Jerod a call 419-541-0765 today and set up your Lake Erie Fishing Charter.

See ya out there
