July 25th

With a last minute cancellation due to one of our great clients suffering a stroke we had an opening come up last minute.  We wish our client and friend Mark the best on his road to recovery.  I opened up the dates he had on our social media pages and all the openings were filled very quickly with new clients.  It is always a challenge that we welcome with new clients; trying to meet their expectations and create an experience that makes them enjoy their Lake Erie Charter trip and come back for another. Robert, his wife Amanda and their 3 kids chose to try a Lake Erie Yellow Perch trip, the wind was a little stronger than forecasted and the ride to where we would be fishing was a little bumpy until we reached the leeward side of South Bass Island.  The ride up caused the two younger ones to get a little sick and they only fished for a short while and then slept during the rest of the trip.  We got a mix of Emerald Shiners and Golden shiners from Rickard’s Bait and Tackle.  Most shops didn’t have any Emeralds that morning so we were thankful that they had some.  Robert, Amanda and Kane did very well on the light bite and had the Perch bite figured out very quickly.  It was a steady pick during the day and we ended with 85 good sized Yellow Perch for their Charter.  I was glad that we were able to take this family out and I am hoping to see them once again.  Lake Erie Perch fishing is starting to heat up as the temps rise for the late summer.

We hope to be your Lake Erie Fishing Charter
