Leaving the dock around 8 am after a night of work, with a near perfect day forecasted for the Marblehead area, we set a course north for about 10 miles. Arriving into our area we planned to perch fish, we were joining an already large pack, which had a few captain friends in it catching perch already. We set our anchor on a spot that turned out to be a very steady pick for most of the day and included periods of non-stop action. Today’s Lake Erie Yellow Perch Charter was for a Father’s day present of some long time friends of mine and their families. This group came to enjoy a day on the lake and also catch enough fish for a family perch fry. They weren’t disappointed by the end, the weather couldn’t have been any better and they managed to take home over 160 Yellow Perch in just a few short hours. Everyone on the boat was able to catch some perch and even though we fell just short of the 6 man limit for them everyone had a great time. The star of the day was Wyatt as he ran around the Port side of the boat catching fish pretty much non-stop at every spot. It was a very thoughtful gift put together for a great group.
We hope to be your choice for Lake Erie Charter Fishing
